Meleny and Aurelio are engaged!

This engagement session is one of my all-time favorites. From the colorful streets of downtown Naples, to the cotton candy sunset, everything about Meleny and Aurelio’s Naples Engagement Session was perfect!

We explored the beautiful buildings lining the boulevard, and I got to learn more about their story. Meleny and Aurelio met in 2019 when Meleny, on a whim, decided to attend a new church. Little did she know, she would soon find her future husband by her side, leading bible study together! Because of the pandemic, it was difficult for them to see each other during the very beginning of their relationship. However, that didn’t stop them from talking almost every day and falling even deeper for each other. Almost three years later, Meleny and Aurelio planned a weekend kayaking trip with some friends at Marco Island. After watching the sunset on their drive back together, they stopped by Aurelio’s childhood home. Meleny told me that she “wasn’t suspecting anything,” but knew as soon as she saw a gazebo lighted with twinkle lights, that something was up. Aurelio had printed photos of the two of them from throughout their relationship, and let her through the gazebo while professing his love for her. Honestly, this seems like a movie! But it really happened, and Meleny happily said yes!

They look forward to hosting their friends and family at Cielo Farms for their wedding day, which they envision as a classy black tie celebration, accented with soft pastel details and an abundance of delicate flowers. We met at the historic 3rd Street South in Downtown Naples for their engagement session, which was such a blast. The couple sported two outfits, and switched it up just before hitting the sand under a beautiful cotton candy sunset. These two are the cutest couple, and it was such an honor capturing this beautiful time in their lives!
